Turkey gave statistics about the deportation of “foreign terrorists” and their nationalities


According to the report of Fars International News Agency, in a situation where Damascus officials have criticized Ankara for opening the Turkish border for the presence of terrorists in Syria over the past years, the Turkish Ministry of Interior published statistics on the expulsion of terrorists.

Turkish media sources reported the statistics of the Turkish Ministry of Interior regarding the deportation of terrorists who entered the country and returning them to their respective countries.

According to this statement, as part of Turkey’s domestic and cross-border security operations, a total of 9,000 foreign terrorists were deported from 102 countries, including 1,168 from the United States and EU member states.

In its statement, the Turkish Ministry of Interior reiterated Ankara’s stance against the Kurdish militias and American allies in Syria and called them terrorists.

According to the statement, Ankara continues to return foreign terrorist fighters who come to Turkey to join the PKK, PKK and ISIS terrorist groups.

The Turkish Interior Ministry also announced that at least 59 Americans and 1,109 Europeans who have done so have been deported from Turkey since the “civil war in Syria” began in 2011.

According to the statistics announced by the Ministry of Interior of Turkey, in 2019, at least 126 foreign terrorists were expelled from 12 member states of the European Union. At least 95 terrorists from 8 EU member states were returned from Turkey in 2020.

The ministry also announced the deportation of at least 69 European terrorists in 2021 and the deportation of 20 terrorists in the first seven months of this year.

According to the statistics presented by the Ministry of Interior of Turkey, citizens of France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Finland, Romania, Sweden and Austria are at the top of the citizens of European countries whose citizens were deported from Turkey as terrorists and returned to their countries.
