According to the Fars News Agency correspondent, in Dushanbe, during the visit of the Turkmen delegation headed by Moqsad Babayev, the Minister of State and the head of the state company “Turkmengaz” to Islamabad, a joint plan was signed to speed up the implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline project.

Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, while meeting with the delegation of Turkmenistan, emphasized his support for the completion of the TAPI gas pipeline and the TAP power transmission line (Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan) projects as soon as possible, which will play an important role in meeting Pakistan’s energy needs. did

He also said while participating in the signing ceremony of the mentioned document that TAPI is a very important project for the development of the region, Pakistan is ready to take all measures to accelerate its implementation.

In the continuation of this trip, the delegation of Turkestan met with “Khorram Dastgir Khan”, the Minister of Energy, “Mosadegh Malik”, the Minister of Energy, and “Asim Munir”, the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army, and discussed the implementation of the TAPI and TOP project.

In addition to the official meetings, the two sides also held several technical meetings regarding the implementation of the above projects.
