Turning 5 historical and cultural complexes into creative houses of handicrafts

Hadi Mirzaei, referring to the final results of the last public call for historical and cultural monuments announced in September of this year, said: (Kermanshah province), Mushir Divan mansion (Kurdistan province), Zaeem Abuii house (Sistan and Baluchestan province), Najafi house and Haj Rais mansion (Bushehr province) are five historical complexes whose operation management in the last public call of this fund using the house “Creativity was left to the private sector investor.”
He added: “In addition to the mission of reviving and exploiting historical and cultural sites, supporting, developing and promoting handicrafts, encouraging and honoring artists, veterans and activists in the field of handicrafts and handmade carpets have been added to the fund’s missions. “History has been in this direction.”
The Director General of the Handicrafts and Carpets Development Fund stated: “By launching a creative center for handicrafts and carpets with the aim of educating, developing, promoting and exporting indigenous products of historical collections, an effective step will be taken in sustainable employment in the fields of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts.”
Mirzaei cited the lack of integrated management and strategic planning as one of the main factors in diverting creative homes from their core mission, adding: “With the seal of national and international authenticity, the possibility of holding joint workshops, training and empowering interested parties, branding and marketing, and connecting to national and global markets should also be provided in these places.”
“Paying attention to the historical and cultural identity of the transfers is one of the most important approaches of the Development and Rehabilitation Fund, which has been emphasized especially in the last two years, as cultural uses have played a more prominent role than other uses,” he added.
“This approach has led to the revitalization of historical collections into centers for holding cultural events, introducing indigenous cultural capacities, introducing local historical and identity components, and in general to “Become a stimulus for the cultural, social and economic development of the region.”
According to Mirzaei, entrusting the management of revitalization and operation of these complexes to the private sector has led to the flow of cultural and economic life in these complexes and improved the quality of their operation.
