UAE request for stable and dynamic relations with Iran


According to the foreign policy group of Fars News Agency, the foreign ministers of Iran and the United Arab Emirates had a telephone conversation last night (Wednesday, December 2).

During the phone call between Hossein Amirabdullahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, the latest developments in bilateral relations and the international situation were discussed.

In this interview, Amir Abdullahian stated: We are interested in the development and expansion of relations with neighboring countries, including the UAE.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country announced Iran’s readiness to hold a joint meeting of Iranian and UAE businessmen.

In a part of this telephone conversation, the head of our country’s diplomacy strongly criticized the non-constructive approach of the United States and some European countries towards the recent disturbances in Iran and the political and instrumental abuse of international institutions such as human rights.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates also called for stable and dynamic relations between the two countries.

The UAE foreign minister announced his readiness to hold meetings of the joint commission and the committee of traders and businessmen of Iran and the UAE and to expand bilateral relations.

In the end, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the need for human rights institutions not to follow the political approach and also called for the revival of the nuclear agreement and the resolution of technical differences in this field, calling it in the interest of all parties.
