Ulyanov consulted with EU envoy on final document of talks
According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s representative in the Vienna talks, tweeted about a conversation with the EU representative in the talks. “I had a detailed conversation with the EU Coordinator, Enrique Mora, about what the final document of the Vienna talks might look like,” he wrote.
The Russian representative in the international organizations based in Vienna announced a meeting with the US representative in the talks a few hours ago and wrote: Another very useful meeting with Mr. Robert Mali, the US representative in Iran. The Russian diplomat also wrote in another tweet: Intensive work is underway on the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan (CJAP) in Vienna. All three working groups (lifting sanctions, nuclear issues, and implementation and follow-up) will meet today to address significant remaining issues.
According to Fars, following the eighth round of consultations in Vienna, expert meetings were held today (Friday) with the presence of the delegations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the P4 + 1 group (Germany, France, Britain, Russia and China). In this regard, the meeting of the Working Group on Nuclear Action was held in the presence of experts from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the P4 + 1 Group at the Coburg Hotel in Vienna. The third working group meeting (executive arrangements) was also held at the Coburg Hotel with the participation of the mentioned experts.
The eighth round of talks to lift sanctions resumed in Vienna on Tuesday (February 7th) after an 11-day hiatus.
