Ulyanov: If America shows political will, the Vienna talks will be finalized – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, “Mikhail Ulyanov”, the permanent representative of Russia in international organizations located in Vienna, emphasized that irresponsible statements about Plan B could lead to negative consequences.

The permanent representative of Russia in international organizations based in Vienna wrote in a Twitter message in this regard: “There is a much better way to finalize the Vienna negotiations (negotiations to lift anti-Iranian sanctions) and an agreement on the revival of the JCPOA.”

“Mikhail Ulyanov” added in this regard: This matter is still the way, provided that America shows the appropriate political will. Irresponsible talk about plan B can lead to very negative developments.

A spokesperson of the International Atomic Energy Agency announced last Wednesday that the technical inspectors of this agency are going to travel to Iran on Sunday (tomorrow) in connection with the alleged safeguard issues.

This spokesman of the International Atomic Energy Agency added: The purpose of the trip on December 18 is to deal with outstanding safeguard issues that were reported earlier.

On the other hand, Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, announced the travel schedule of the officials of the International Atomic Energy Agency and said that our interactions with the agency are ongoing and we hope that a step forward will be taken in order to remove obstacles and ambiguities with the agency. .

Negotiations on lifting sanctions and returning the US to the JCPOA agreement in the 13th government began in Vienna in early January last year, but due to Washington’s lack of seriousness, these talks were stopped in March.

After a break of several months and following the visit of EU foreign policy official Joseph Borrell to Tehran, a new round of negotiations was held on the 7th and 8th of July this year in Doha, Qatar; But until now, with the numerous failures of the western axis, it has not reached a clear result.

It should be noted that on May 9, 2018 (May 18, 2018), during the presidency of Donald Trump, the United States withdrew from the 2015 nuclear agreement and imposed unilateral sanctions against Iran in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231.
