According to the Mehr news agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s chief negotiator in the Vienna talks, announced his meeting with Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

“I met with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Mr. Rafael Grossi, this morning,” he wrote in a tweet. We discussed the issue of nuclear safety and security in Ukraine, as well as Grossi’s successful visit to Iran on Saturday.

Ulianov had previously called Rafael Grossi’s visit to Iran very successful.

“The two sides agreed to take concrete steps to resolve the remaining important safeguards issues within a reasonable timeframe,” he wrote in his message. It is a great achievement!

It is worth mentioning that Iran has played a key role in the progress of the negotiations with its innovative initiatives that it has shown during the negotiations, and now it is the American side that must make the final decision to reach an agreement.
