Ulyanov: Negotiations near the finish line – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international institutions based in Vienna, announced in a Twitter message that he had met with Enrique Mora, the EU’s deputy foreign policy chief.

“Obviously, negotiations to revive Burjam are on the verge of crossing the finish line,” he wrote in a tweet, referring to the exchange of views.

Meanwhile, Mora also announced in a Twitter message that the talks had reached a crucial moment and wrote: “After 10 months of talks, the end is near.”

However, he stressed that the outcome is not yet clear and that some key issues remain to be resolved, while all delegations are fully involved.

Iran has previously said that a good deal will not be out of reach if the West is willing and shows goodwill, while Tehran will not back down from its red lines of lifting all sanctions.
