According to the Mehr news agency, Russia’s representative in the Vienna talks to lift the sanctions in the field of Twitter messages described the atmosphere of the talks.

“It’s a really good sign,” the Russian diplomat wrote in another tweet. In the seventh round of the Vienna talks, there were different (in my opinion unjustifiable) views from negative to dubious. So he created an atmosphere that was not conducive to progress. We need to be more objective: the negotiations are moving slowly but steadily.

It is worth mentioning that the eighth round of talks on lifting the sanctions began last Monday evening with the meeting of the Joint Commission of the UN Security Council chaired by Ali Bagheri, Senior Negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Enrique Moo, EU Deputy Foreign Minister.

The meeting was suspended last Thursday due to the start of the New Year holidays and resumed on Monday this week.
