Ulyanov: We agree with Iran’s assessment of the negotiation process – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations, tweeted on Sunday that more efforts were needed to find a solution to the issue of lifting anti-Iranian sanctions.

Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations responded to a tweet quoting Ali Bagheri, Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator in Vienna, as saying that differences over sanctions were easing: “We have the same assessment.” Progress is being made; But achieving the desired solution requires more time and effort.

He tweeted on Saturday that the atmosphere in the Vienna talks, the eighth round of which has been under way since last week with the aim of lifting anti-Iranian sanctions, was positive and effective.

Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna wrote in this regard: I can say that the atmosphere of the Vienna talks is positive and working. In my judgment, they share the same assessment by contacting other peers. We are moving forward. Not fast, but gradually.

Other counterparts in the Vienna talks also say the atmosphere for dialogue is positive

It is worth mentioning that the eighth round of talks on lifting sanctions began last Monday evening, two weeks ago, with a meeting of the Joint Commission chaired by Ali Bagheri, Senior Negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Enrique Mora, EU Deputy Foreign Minister.
