Ulyanov’s explanation of significant progress in Vienna talks – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

Russia’s representative to international organizations, Mikhail Ulyanov, tweeted on Sunday that significant progress had been made during the ongoing talks on lifting anti-Iranian sanctions, Mehr news agency reported.
The representative of Russia in international organizations in Vienna wrote about this: The members of Borjam and the United States (in the absence of Iran) met this evening to evaluate the latest status of the Vienna talks.
He continued: “All assessments were positive and significant progress has been made in the negotiation process.”
A few hours ago, he announced in a Twitter message that he had a separate meeting with the head of the Iranian negotiating team, representatives of the European troika, and Robert Mali, the US special envoy for Iran, on the sidelines of a meeting on lifting sanctions in Vienna.
It is worth mentioning that Ali Bagheri, Iran’s chief negotiator, left for the Austrian capital Vienna last Tuesday morning to take part in the eighth round of Vienna talks in order to lift US sanctions.
