In the first seven months of this year, about 50,000 Chinese tourists entered Iran. Shalbafian added: Certainly, putting the name of Iran as a top tourist destination by the Chinese government in the country’s tourism programs has not had an effect on increasing these demands, so I thank the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the Chinese Embassy in Iran.
The vice president of tourism said: Tourism interactions between the two countries burden our duty to host the guests of the two countries and I hope that the issues raised in this meeting can help to achieve this goal.
China is ready to cooperate with Iran to strengthen tourism

He added: “Recently, during the meeting of the presidents of Iran and China, related issues or the development of tourism were agreed upon by the leaders of the two countries.”
The Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China said: Iran and China, as two ancient civilizations, have rich capacities and can cooperate in wider fields. Currently, tourism is developing and there are many flights between Iran and China, and tourism tours between Iran and China are returning to the state before Corona.
Luoing Chuang added: Iran’s joining the Shanghai Organization and the BRICS summit have provided many opportunities for bilateral cooperation between Iran and China.
He further said: Support and cooperation between companies and private sector activists can be one of the axes of tourism development between Iran and China, among which our emphasis is on the fields of rural tourism as well as sea tourism and travel by cruise ships.
Emphasizing the necessity of focusing on smart tourism, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China added: The development of communication technology has caused changes in people’s lives, China is interested in cooperating with Iran in the field of digital tourism and artificial intelligence.
He continued: Adhering to the development of green tourism is one of the other areas in which China is interested in cooperating with Iran, and saving energy and protecting the environment are among the issues we are looking for in green tourism.
Luying Chuang also said: The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China is ready to collaborate in order to strengthen tourism cooperation between the two countries, and we are fully prepared in this regard.
Next, the first minutes of the meeting of the Technical Committee on Tourism Cooperation between Iran and China were signed by the Deputy Minister of Tourism of our country and the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China.
Simultaneously with this meeting, the exhibition of the effects of Chinese art and civilization in Iran was also held in Saad Abad Palace. This exhibition, which has introduced a corner of the arts and history of China, continues for seven days from Monday, November 8, at the Palace of the Nation.
