** A series that had a lot of margins

The life story of a student girl who enters into personal adventures with a number of her classmates in the twists and turns of student life and overshadows the lives of several families was one of the most popular stories in TV series in the 70’s. “In Your Shelter”, whose name is familiar and memorable to many TV viewers these days, was a love story in the society of the 70’s.

Although this series was one of the most popular TV series in the seventies, but there were many side effects about it. From the censorship of 5 episodes of it to the elimination of last year’s game Piroozfar or even the change of the ending that the director had planned for it, all of this made this series one of the most marginalized series of the seventies, and the name Smile after it Languages ​​fall.

** We directors will be fired after a few years!

In an interview with Fars News Agency, Labkhandeh recently expressed his grievances on TV and said: “I presented a film project and I would like to make it.” The story is in line with my previous work on television. Normally we do not give up serialization but we do. Over the years, I have presented plans and some steps have been taken, but in the end, due to differences of taste with the authorities, it has not reached anywhere, and this has led many to think that I do not like working with TV, which is my home.

** My plans are not in line with the tastes of managers

He continued: TV has no problem with me, but the designs I give are not the same as their tastes. With the form that television has taken in the last few years and the series has been made, it has become clear that their tastes have changed compared to before and did not suit our tastes, and so I and others like me have been left out and can no longer do anything on television.

** A story that was up to date

The turning point of this series was a story written by Alireza Talebzadeh. A story that had a new taste and until then it had not been seen or heard on TV that a girl in a life struggle would marry three men and her first two marriages would fail! Smile in this series went through many taboos and for this reason it was able to come close to success.

** They do not like the sex of my work

The director also stated: “Maybe it was a managerial desire for me and my colleagues to leave the cycle of television directing in the 90’s.” In my opinion, the quality level of TV series has decreased at the moment, and it has definitely been a decision that has been made, and a number of directors have been laid off in this media. But on the other hand, it can be said that maybe my friends do not like the kind of work I do.

** A series that became a springboard for its actors!

Another point that appealed to the audience of this series was the use of actors who had never been seen before. Incidentally, they also had good physical faces. Leia Zanganeh, the late Hassan Joharchi, Parsa Piruzfar, etc., were actors who were all introduced to the art community by playing in this series, and after that, they also acted in other works. In other words, it can be said that the main actors of this series also became the jumping platform in your shelter.

At the time of the series’ production, when about 60% of the work had been filmed, the network announced that parts of Parsa’s family life would be removed.

** Culture and art are not the issue of our country

The director added: “Every now and then I see on TV and in programs that my friends come to me and say why not something?” But no one answers why ?! I would like you to answer this question. Now that television does not have as many audiences as before, what happened ?! None! I think these should be issues like eating water and bread.
