Theater News Base: The Office of Research, Education and Publishing has introduced four new books in the field of performing arts to the book market. The unveiling ceremony of these books will be held on Monday at 5:00 PM in the Hall of Fame of the Shahr Theater.
Three plays in two volumes entitled “Backstage – Wrestler with a Bear” written by Hossein Fazlollahi and “The heart is on fire” written by Chista Yathribi and 2 research books entitled “Shadow Play” written by Roberto Papetti and Masha Lucci written by The translation of Irene Gharibpour and “Iranian playwrights 1378-1357” which is the result of Hossein Farokhi’s research has been made available to experts and theater enthusiasts.
The plays “Backstage – Wrestler with a Bear” are written with a social theme and with regard to Iranian culture and etiquette, and “The Heart is Fire” is a play with a human theme and originated from Iranian epistemology.
The book “Iranian Playwrights 1378-1378” is the third volume of the book that introduces Iranian playwrights in the context of historical chronology by providing a summary of the story and brief references about the content of the works and is a supplement to the previous two volumes of this research. It has already been published.
The book “Shadow Game” is a full-color and practical book that can acquaint educators, students and children and teenagers with how to prepare and perform a shadow play. The feature of this book is the simplicity of expressing the content and practical tips to encourage the enthusiasts to be able to produce and perform an amazing show with “Shadow Game” with the recycled materials available in daily life at any time and place.
