Unveiling the teaser of Ashura opera on the eve of Muharram

According to Fars news agency, citing public relations and international affairs of Rodaki Foundation, the Ashura opera will be staged for the first time in Vahdat Hall with a new design and recreation. The re-creation of the text, design and direction of the Ashura opera was the work of Behrouz Gharibpour.

Behzad Abdi is the composer and Mohammad Motamedi, Mostafa Mahmoudi, Mohammad Reza Sadeghi and… are the singers of the Ashura opera. This magnificent artistic opera will be staged on August 19, thanks to the efforts of Rudaki Foundation and the cooperation of Aran Puppet Theater Group.
