US and Saudi Foreign Ministers consult on Vienna talks and regional developments – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news



According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the official Saudi news agency (WAS), Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan and his American counterpart Anthony Blinken met and consulted on the sidelines of the Munich Security Summit.

The official Saudi news agency reported that during the meeting between Bin Farhan and Blinken, the strategic and historical relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States and ways to strengthen it in various fields of joint cooperation and coordination were discussed.

According to the report, the two sides discussed a number of regional and international issues and developments, including strengthening security and stability in the West Asian region.

Strategies for strengthening joint actions around Yemen and countering attacks by Yemeni forces in response to aggression against the Yemeni people were among the other topics discussed during the meeting between Bin Farhan and Blinken.

The Saudi and American sides also discussed Iran’s nuclear program and international talks on the Austrian capital, Vienna, as well as regional and international developments.
