What does “usemart” mean?
Handsome engineer: Part of choosing the name of Usemart is because of the love that all Iranians have for the Iranian cheetah. On the other hand, the speed of the cheetah is reminiscent of our slogan “speed in product delivery” and the mart section is also related to the word “market” meaning “market”.
What made you decide to launch it?
handsome engineer: Until today, I had no experience in the field of internet business, but when the market moved towards the digital market, this platform was also prepared for us. Considering our 15-year history of business and marketing in Gilan province as well as the neighboring provinces of Mazandaran, Ardabil and Qazvin, we decided to move towards the digital market in view of the current situation and the corona pandemic. Handsome engineer: In addition to online sales, we intend to launch an installment sales service; In fact, all consumer products for a family such as: electrical appliances, supermarkets, clothes, mobile phones, etc. will be presented on this platform, and the difference between this store and Digikala is in the speed of product delivery, because if someone from Gilan registers an order in Digikala It takes several days for the product to reach him. In addition, the shipping fee must be paid, but in this platform, these services are provided to customers in better ways.
Is Do you have the ability to compete with Tarab or Digikala?
handsome engineer: It is a bit difficult to answer this question; Each of us should consider a share of the consumption market for ourselves, and we have considered our share at the level of Gilan province.
What market share of Gilan province have you targeted?
Dr. Hassanzadeh: Our future is purposeful and we know where we want to go and we will not look for trial and error to see if it will happen or not. In fact, this is certain for us, but because we are building the infrastructure and the building, it will take some time to get at least 60% of the Gilan province market.
What is your competitive advantage?
Handsome engineer: Although Iranian businesses have their own stories and issues every day and they may face setbacks, but in order to differentiate ourselves from our competitors, we are trying to increase the number and range of products so that the choice of customers is limited to There are not many products and at the same time, we offer the most suitable products to customers at good prices.
On the other hand, virtual stores in Gilan specialize in a specific field or are supermarkets, which often operate in a limited way in supplying goods, or they only operate in the logistics and shipping sector; Even the stores that tried to enter other fields have not been very successful and until today we have not had a successful store that operates in several sectors in Gilan province.
Dr. Hassanzadeh: Currently, we do not have a platform with such a structure designed for Usemart. Most of the existing stores are marketplaces and use suppliers with whom they have a contract. Even big companies such as Snap and Digikala have performed poorly in the issue of supermarkets in the country’s provinces and are mostly advertising.
In the marketplace category, we don’t have uniformity of service, and the supplier may be a supermarket near you that has not been trained in customer service, social media and digital marketing.
For now, we have not entered the supermarket marketplace and we are the supplier of all our products. We currently have nearly 4,000 items in our warehouse and will definitely reach several tens of thousands of items.
How many people have used your services so far?

handsome engineer: Unfortunately no. Of course, this issue is not unique to Gilan province; Because providers of financial resources such as banks and other organizations are scarce in Iran, therefore Adrien and Arang broadcasting companies started operating with their own resources. For example, in the first 6 years of its operation, Adrien Broadcasting Company had more than 100 employees under its support and social security insurance with personal capital.
Safavi Engineer: We are in a land that supports the youth. The fact that Dr. Hassanzadeh has come here from Tehran is a kind of support for this idea and work. Regarding other support, once the work is started and we have forward activities, the government will definitely support us with affiliated organizations.
Let us go back to the beginning of your activities to get to know you better. What was the purpose of Adrien broadcasting company?
handsome engineer: 15 years ago, we were some young people looking for a name when we entered the free market; Even Mr. Safavi and I left university and after several years, we went for academic studies.
Although because of my father’s government job in the governor’s office, I could easily work in government agencies, but I had no desire to do so and I was interested in the free market. From the age of 20, conditions were provided for me to enter the market.
How did you meet each other?
handsome engineer: I met Mr. Safavi in one of the large home appliance stores in Rasht and we worked there for about 5 years until capillary sales and distribution companies started working in different provinces of the country. After some time, Mr. Safavi and I got a job in one of the big companies that had started working in Gilan province with the support of a foreign company, and we started marketing work, or in other words, visiting.
Both of us gained experience in different positions of supervision and sales management in different companies and after some time due to increasing competition in the labor market and our personal desire to progress, we decided to start our own company and our first company was named ” “Adrien Broadcasting Station” was launched in Gilan province and we opened Arang after about two years.
Why did you start Arang?
handsome engineer: For example, when you represent a good cellulose product in Gilan province, you are limited to only supply the same product in the province, but with the presence of the second company, we could use other good brands in parallel in Gilan.
What happened that you did not stay in the capital to work?
handsome engineer: We spent the first years of our work in our native city and put a lot of energy in the direction of culture building in Gilan province. In the past, when we did marketing work, it was not as easy as it is now, because technology had not progressed to such an extent, and people had to see the products in person in order to trust them, so we had to go to neighboring cities and buy items every day Carry the heavy with us. Therefore, after years of effort, we preferred to stay here to expand our business.
How was your co-founding experience?
handsome engineer: The accumulation of our years of experience and the efforts of Mr. Safavi, in particular, has been one of the springboards for the Adrien and Arang broadcasting series, and I can even say that the only person who had the ability to do this in Gilan province was Mr. Safavi.
We also had other broadcast companies that operated locally in Gilan, but with the ability of Mr. Safavi in their field of activity and the connections they had with big companies, we were successful in the logistics issue and were able to reach the most distant areas within 48 hours of the order. Safavi Engineer: As the elders say, we are at the bottom of the market. Since I was a child, I was looking for independence, and one of the ways to be independent is to have a business that provides your own income and expenses, and I earned my first income at the age of 11 by working in a cafe.
Therefore, due to my perseverance, I chose the right path and met capable people in the business field.
On the other hand, since I was a student until now, I have been learning that in line with that, you should read books and look for knowledgeable people. Therefore, my path has been shaped by constant reading and learning.
What are the challenges of activity in Gilan province?
handsome engineer: There is a severe labor shortage in Gilan province and skilled people migrate to Tehran.
Dr. Hassanzadeh: According to the existing infrastructure in Gilan province, regardless of the appearance of the story that there is no work in this province, in my opinion, there are many conditions for work in the new business environment and if we encourage our youth to increase their knowledge. If they see the necessary data and training in this field, there will be good income.
What vision do you envision for the development of Usemart?
Dr. Hassanzadeh: The research and development unit of Usemart is always updating because the businesses that are updating and are aware of the current market techniques are definitely going to win or more correctly, they are doomed to win.
We intend to be a platform that operates as a super application or super site in all areas of service and product sales.
How many years will this be achieved?
Dr. Hassanzadeh: We will reach this level in three years. In the first plan, the launch of an online store was planned, which has now been launched.
