According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by CNBC, Facebook has acknowledged that the number of its users is decreasing. For the first time, the number of users of this social network in the fourth quarter of 2021 reached 1.93 billion people, which is 500,000 less than in the previous quarter.

With the arrival of powerful competitors such as Tic Tac, the growing popularity of Instagram and the repeated negligence of Facebook to maintain the security and privacy of users, this social network has gone through bad days.

Open-ended surveys show that reducing Facebook users’ use will have a negative impact on the social network’s business revenue.

Facebook had $ 398 million in advertising revenue and $ 26 million in net profit last year. Bazfid did not say exactly how much Facebook usage has declined.
