Using the capacities of the international arena to provide foreign exchange resources for agricultural inputs

According to the Iran Economist, quoting the public relations and international cooperation of Keshavarzi Bank, Mehdi Rezaei on the morning of Saturday, May 20, in a live video communication with the participants in the symposium and retraining of the bank’s foreign exchange regulations, while announcing the above, added: Infrastructure, appropriate capacities and the specialized position of the Agricultural Bank in helping to ensure the food security of the country, all the capacities of the international arena must be exploited.
Pointing to the importance of providing the currency needed to supply inputs in the agricultural sector, he stressed the use of the bank’s international capacity and noted: “In this area, we need more serious efforts and planning to maintain and develop the foreign exchange market.”
Explaining the expectations from the international field of the bank, the head of the Agricultural Bank pointed to the special place of this field in the strategic document and plans of this policy and expressed hope: with serious planning and effort, we will witness significant changes in this field.
He said that according to the plan, we are going to become the top bank in the country in the next few years. Increasing the share of the foreign exchange market and specified: identifying active foreign exchange customers across the country, attracting new customers and facilitating and improving the performance of the exchange through special authorities are the most important factors in the realization of these programs.
In another part of his speech, Mehdi Rezaei emphasized on reducing unfulfilled foreign exchange obligations and noted: “Speed is very important in responding to foreign exchange customers and it is expected that with the cooperation of other units, including corporate banking, the speed and status of providing foreign exchange services to Promoted customers.
Referring to the role and position of human resources in advancing the bank’s programs, he said that updating the knowledge of foreign exchange colleagues through training is necessary and said: the educational needs of this group of colleagues will be followed up and met through training.
According to this report, the first day of reflection and retraining of foreign exchange regulations of Keshavarzi Bank on Saturday morning, May 21, with the presence of Fereydoun Behbahani, member of the bank’s board of directors, Hamid Ghanbari, international director of the Central Bank, Shahrzad Moshiri, deputy director of international affairs and Also, a number of heads of central offices and foreign exchange users of Keshavarzi Bank branches across the country were held at the Babolsar training center of this bank.
The report adds: The symposium and retraining of the foreign exchange regulations of Keshavarzi Bank will continue until Sunday, June 1, and Mohsen Karimi, the International Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will be one of the speakers on the second day of this symposium.
