Using the resources from the sale of surplus bank properties in national movement projects
According to the financial news report, quoted by Maskan-Hibna Bank, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, CEO of Maskan Bank, in a meeting with Malik Rahmati, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and Director General of the Privatization Organization, said: The main mission of Maskan Bank is to fulfill the government’s goals in Housing sector.
Referring to the limited number of surplus and unnecessary properties of Maskan Bank, he said: We intend to use the resources obtained from the sale of these properties to advance the plans of the national movement and finance these projects.
The head of the privatization organization also mentioned the important role of the housing bank in the national movement plan and said: the housing bank deals with the main need of different sections of the society, which is housing, and for this reason, the bank’s activities in solving the housing problem of the people deserve appreciation.
Referring to the readiness of the privatization organization for joint cooperation between this organization and Maskan Bank regarding the facilitation of activities, he added: According to the production regulation of Maskan Bank, as a state bank, it can utilize the anticipated capacities through this organization in order to Selling surplus and unnecessary properties to use and create resources to be able to fulfill its obligations in the specialized housing sector.
Regarding the establishment of Tehran Bank and Construction Company, Rahmati added: Through this company, we are trying to make the surplus properties of government organizations and banks in Tehran productive and sell the built units. In this context, Housing Bank, considering its main mission in the construction and production of housing; It can be effective in the formation of this collection.
He continued: We are planning to offer and sell surplus properties in the capital market through the funds that are part of this organization.
