Mehran Salarieh added that according to Article 10 of the Automobile Industry Organization Law and the amendment of this article, one of the pillars of the numbering of manufactured or imported cars is a permit that must be submitted by the Fleet Renewal and Scrapping Headquarters for the Naja Highway Police to do the numbering.

He continued: Arrangements have already been made that the license for numbering and introduction of production cars should be done from this headquarters, so the numbering of a number of cars is now being done through a system designed for this purpose. In this regard, a correspondence has been made with the head of Naja Highway Police, stating that all the cars that are manufactured or imported and are ready to be numbered, it is mandatory to receive scrapping fees from this headquarters, either in cash or a certificate of scrapping, so that they can be introduced to the Highway Police.

The head of the vehicle renewal and scrapping of old vehicles said: We request the head of the traffic police to inform his colleagues about this issue until a license is issued from this headquarters.
