Veteran voice actor Hoshang Latifpour passed away – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news



According to Mehr reporter, Shahrad Banki, the director of public relations of the Association of Film Speakers and Supervisors, announced the death of Hoshang Latifpour, a veteran dubbor.

Referring to the death of Latif Pour, a veteran double player, he told Mehr reporter: The family of Hoshang Latif Pour has informed are that he died on Monday night, January 26, in Vancouver, Canada.

Latif Pour is one of the first dubbing directors in Iran and he played an important role in selecting and introducing some of the lasting voices of dubbing, including the invitation of Parviz Bahram. Also, Manouchehr Nowzari was invited to dubbing for the first time through him and introduced to Iraj Dostdar for dubbing training. Manouchehr Valizadeh once introduced him as “dubbed” in a TV show.

He was the narrator of the movie “Othello”, the narrator of the series “Uncle John Napoleon” and also the narrator of the text of the Deliran Tangestan series.

Latifpour was responsible for dubbing most of the films, including “Badnam” (made by Alfred Hitchcock), “Julius Caesar”, “Don Quixote” (made by Gregory Kuznetsov), “Wild Strawberries” (made Ingmar Bergman) pointed out.
