Veterans are the memory of the cultural heritage of Iran

According to Aria Heritage correspondent, Ali Darabi said today, Tuesday, December 14, 2014, in the second symposium with professors and veterans in the field of cultural heritage, which was held at the Fajr Hall of the ministry: “We hold cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts, and our main goal is to hear what your veterans have to say and to benefit from the experiences of these loved ones.”

The Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage pointed to the most important activities in the new management period of the ministry and added: “The protection of Iranian calligraphy will be studied at UNESCO and, God willing, it will be registered worldwide.”

He added: “The program that Mr. Zarghami has during his tenure is a discourse based on change, transformation, development and technology. For this reason, consultative meetings, working groups and workshops are held in this regard. “In these meetings, we will plan for this ministry, using your experiences and looking to the future.”

“Government-centeredness and the role of the people in cultural heritage programs are two important issues that we are pursuing in the five-year plan, and our goal is to be able to create empathy and harmony in the light of solidarity,” he said.

There is no retirement in the field of cultural heritage

Seyed Mohammad Beheshti, a veteran of cultural heritage and former head of the organization, also spoke at the meeting: “They will be and will be more useful.”

“Our greatest wealth in the field of cultural heritage is manpower, which is even more valuable than Persepolis and other places and buildings,” he said. “Expert, knowledgeable and experienced manpower is very valuable.”

In this meeting, professors and veterans in the field of cultural heritage in the presence of Engineer Seyed Ezatullah Zarghami, Minister of Heritage, Culture and Handicrafts, expressed their suggestions, opinions and experiences and provided solutions and suggestions for the future plans of the ministry.
