Vice President’s visit to Zaribar International Wetland


Ali Selajgeh, head of the Environment Organization, during a visit to Zaribar International Wetland in Kurdistan Province, considered it one of the most unique wetlands in the world and announced the credit of 300 billion Rials for research, construction and conservation projects.


According to Moj News Agency, Ali Selajgeh, the Vice President of Iran, visited Zaribar International Wetland in Kurdistan Province during his trip to Kurdistan Province.

The president has a special view on the protection of the Zaribar wetland and during his first visit to the province, he allocated 300 billion Rials for research, construction, conservation and tourism projects in this area. It is expected that more credits will be allocated during his recent trip.

Selajgeh paid his respects to Shamkh Shahada by attending the Martyrs Memorial and also visited the water bowl of the lagoon, construction and tourism projects, water transfer from Garan Dam to the lagoon and environmental challenges of the lagoon.
