According to the Mehr news agency, Russia’s representative in the Vienna talks announced the possibility of success in these talks by the end of February (first half of March).
In an Twitter message, Mikhail Ulyanov referred to his interview with Itar-Tass and wrote: “Today, in an interview with Itar-Tass, I expressed a slightly more optimistic view: Vienna talks on BRICS could be successful by the end of this month (February).
Meanwhile, our country’s chief negotiator stressed on Wednesday that although we are closer to an agreement today than ever before, it is time for the negotiating parties to decide on important issues.
“After weeks of intense negotiations, we have come closer to an agreement than ever, but until everything is agreed, nothing has been agreed,” tweeted Ali Bagheri Kani, head of the Iranian delegation in Vienna.
He stressed: “Realism, refraining from extravagance and paying attention to the experience of the past 4 years are necessary to achieve this goal.” It is time for our negotiating parties to decide.
