A spokesman for the European Commission said on Monday that the Vienna talks on lifting sanctions on Iran were nearing completion.

“Negotiations are still ongoing and close to the final stage,” Nabila Misrali told a news conference in Brussels. We will try to return to the talks as soon as possible and reach an agreement.

He added that the EU, as the coordinator of the nuclear deal, would continue to contact the United States and all parties to reach a final agreement.

Meanwhile, the European Union’s foreign policy chief announced last night that an agreement was being reached in the Vienna talks to lift sanctions on Iran.

According to the report, “Joseph Borrell” said: “We are close to reaching an agreement with Iran and we have reached an agreement on 95% of the issues.

At the same time, he added: “A nuclear agreement with Iran will not solve all the problems in the region and is the first step.”

Borrell also said that the administration of then-US President Donald Trump made a mistake by withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal known as Borjam.
