Villa houses of national housing from word to action!

According to Tejarat News, there are only three months left until the end of the first year of the 13th government’s four-year term, and the promise of one million units of the National Housing Movement Plan has not yet been fulfilled.
Now, in this situation, the government has announced that it is going to hand over land and semi-built villas to the people in some cities, and the people have to deposit a part of their money from the beginning.
But it seems that there are problems for the construction of these villa units. The government is facing a shortage of ready-to-build land. At the same time, some believe that since the construction of villa houses in the form of the national housing movement is defined only for some urban areas and does not include all provinces, it will cause discrimination among the applicants.
On the other hand, it is not clear how many applicants have the financial ability to build a villa unit. According to the previous investigations of Tejaratnews, the government is facing a problem in providing water and electricity to these housing units, and it is not clear if it can provide these basic facilities for several housing units.
Hassan Mohtsham, a member of the board of directors of the Tehran Province Mass Builders Association, told Tejarat News about the relationship between the government’s failure to fulfill its promises and the delivery of villa houses: It seems that the government wanted to give an answer to the people due to the failure to fulfill its promises. After 15 months, the government not only did not deliver a building, but also did not act for the contract.
He continued: But the main point is that the government wants to give a house to someone who does not have financial means, and it is probably not possible for people to complete that house. Besides, how much land does Iran have? These lands will belong to the future generation as well. There may be no need to hand over the land at all and people need more apartments.
The government is struggling with unfulfilled promises
This member of the board of directors of the Tehran Mass Builders Association also said: In general, it seems that the government is in trouble with promises that it has not been able to fulfill, and today it is talking about a new plan that is not acceptable and not only does it not make people homeless, but its implementation. It is also doubtful.
Mohtsham also believes that land should be used optimally, and if houses are built, it is better to give them in the form of apartments to people who don’t have houses.
Impractical promise Construction of villa houses
He said: “In some cities, the government does not have any land for this work at all, and this will cause the deprivation of these cities and their expectations and complaints.” This plan does not seem to be successful and it does not count towards the promise of one million units per year, and the government made such a decision hastily and without expertise.
Is the government’s promise practical?
One of the main problems of the government for the construction of units of the National Housing Movement is the provision of land. Currently, 300 cities are facing the problems of water crisis and land subsidence, and it seems that it is not logical to hand over land to one person in this situation.
On the other hand, the applicants for housing are often from the weaker sections of the society, who did not have the power to buy housing until this year, and it is not clear how many of them can afford to complete a house. According to these conditions, the delivery of the promised apartment seems more accessible and useful.
