Villages are the tourism hub of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad



Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad villages, in addition to natural attractions, are home to people who produce agricultural products, gardens and handicrafts, and tourists can have a unique experience of living in these villages.

Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces have 14 sample tourism areas and 11 villages targeted for tourism, and there are many villages with stepped texture in this province.

Rural tourism is the experience of living in local homes and spending memorable moments with the villagers, which in different countries is a vital tool for the growth and development of economic activities in different regions and a means to increase the income level of the villagers.

This report introduces some tourist target villages in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad.

Marin, South Masouleh

Marin village with a rainbow of natural, historical and religious attractions is one of the tourist centers in Gachsaran city.

This tourist destination village is known as the lost paradise of southern Iran every year due to its fun climate in the heart of the tropics, the presence of the holy tomb of Bibi Hamideh, the colorful orchard and the stepped texture of the village. It hosts tourists from all over the country every spring.

The stepped texture of the residential units, where each house overlooks the houses downstairs, is one of the spectacular attractions of this village, and in this respect it is known as Masouleh South.

The presence of Dashtak Dale tourist camp in 10 km of Marin village with facilities such as platform, toilet, drinking water and lighting has increased its tourism.

Marin village is located 25 km from Dogonbadan city, the center of Gachsaran city.

Bahrambeigi village

Bahrambeigi village is another tourist destination of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, which is a summer camp and a tourist destination for nature lovers due to its beautiful waterfall and walnut orchards.

This village is 60 km from Yasuj, the center of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad.

Tang Tamradi village

Tang Tamradi village is one of the other tourist target villages of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, which has enjoyed the beauty and tourism of this region due to the location of Badieh waterfall in this area.

This waterfall in 50 km of Yasuj with eye-catching views in all seasons is accompanied by a great welcome from nature lovers.

Kakan, Green Sibestan

The village of Kakan, where the dense apple orchards have provided an original expression of beauty and hard work, is another Kohgiluyeh Boyer-Ahmad tourist destination village.
Kakan region consists of several villages and is one of the most important tourist and economic areas of Boyer-Ahmad city, located 40 km from Yasuj.

Creek Village

Creek is one of the old villages of Dena city, which is located 15 km southwest of Sisakht and 25 km from Yasuj in Kohkiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces. The village of “Creek” is developed in a mountainous area on a gentle slope and is limited to the high altitudes of Dena. The residential texture of this village is dense and its houses are made of clay, mud and wood and have a stepped architecture. It has given a special effect to the village.

In spring, summer and autumn, the weather in this village is pleasant and in winter it is cold and dry. The Creek River flows through this village, which has made this village fresh and vibrant. Creek Village is one of the routes to reach Dena Peak, which has attracted nature friends and tourists to the area. Due to the river passing through this village, the presence of water has caused the growth of a large number of fruit and non-fruit trees around the river, which has added to the beauty of the village and this place is a popular place for those interested in temporary residence in this village. Tasuj village

Tasuj with its pristine and beautiful nature is one of the areas close to Charam city in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces and at a distance of 67 Charam city and in the foothills of Zagros mountains. The climatic diversity of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad is so great that you can reach one of the coldest parts of this province, Tasouj region, just by traveling 67 km from the hottest areas of the province, namely Charam city.

The beautiful nature and cool climate of this region, especially in spring and summer, has made Tasuj region one of the most important parts of Charam city or even Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces in terms of ecotourism or natural tourism.

Also, historical monuments and structures such as castles and historical and intact houses, the tomb of Golbahar Imamzadeh and the Emirate of Eight have attracted many tourists to the region.

Its towering trees and lush land and roaring river flowing through the two valleys create a dreamy landscape. Also, when the nomads move to this area, they multiply the beauty of this space with their unique lifestyle and tents. The beautiful area of ​​Tasuj has many orchards such as apple and walnut orchards, as well as tall and old oak trees along the river and the beautiful waterfall of this area is eye-catching and enjoyable for any viewer. Alwan waterfall and Sarkarteh spring are also natural beauties of Tasuj region.
