The halls of the Iranian Cinema Museum have sections; Contemporaries, International, Child, Sacred Defense, Theater, Names and Farhad’s House; These halls represent the history and developments of Iranian cinema from the beginning of this art to the present day. Visitors to this museum will get acquainted with the pioneers of Iranian cinema, the first cinematic equipment, international honors, and will visit a collection of awards, memorabilia, personal images and documents, and statues of artists. They will watch a selection of films from the history of Iranian cinema.

The building of the Museum of Iranian Cinema is about 200 years old and is one of the oldest historical buildings in the capital, which was built by order of Mohammad Shah Qajar. The Cinema Museum is located in the Ferdows Garden complex.
