Visiting the museums of Urmia is free

According to the Aria Heritage Report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of West Azerbaijan, Mohammad Reza Tanabi announced this on February 24, 2010:

The head of the Cultural, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Urmia added: “In Urmia, there are two museums of anthropology and archeology and a museum of three stone domes under the supervision of this department.”

“With the cooperation of other institutions in Urmia, a museum of children, science and technology has been set up in the province, and the launch of the 22 Bahman School Museum, the Housing Bank Museum and several other museums is on the agenda,” he said.
