Voice Plan subscription introduced for Apple Music; Access unlimited content with Siri only
Apple unveiled a new subscription to the Apple Music service at its conference tonight. Voice Plan subscriptions are available for $ 4.99 per month, and citizens of 17 countries will be able to access it. As the name implies, it is used to play music only through the voice control.
Voice Plan subscribers can listen to an unlimited list of songs, playlists and streaming stations with the help of Siri Voice Assistant. Apple has announced that those interested in this subscription can purchase it in the fall of this year.
Apple Music’s new music subscription seems to be a response to the new design for Amazon Echo. Owners of Echo or Fire TVs can get the music they want for $ 3.99 a month and subscribe to the plan through Alexa Voice Assistant.
“Apple Music and Siri are natural partners and are currently working closely together,” Oliver Schusser, Apple Music & Bates’ chief executive officer, told a news conference. People who do not subscribe to the Apple Music service can sign up for a free seven-day Voice Plan subscription to experience the features before purchasing. It will also not be necessary to renew the designs to use the trial version.
To register for the pilot project, simply say the phrase “Hey Siri, start my Apple Music Voice trial” to the Siri voice assistant so that the process in Apple Music can continue automatically. When done, you can ask all Siri devices to play your favorite music, including Home Pod Mini, AirPad, iPhone, and even CarPlay.
Voice Plan subscribers can customize their listening experience by changing the settings within the app. Among the items available to people are music suggestions based on previous favorites and recently played songs. There is also a dedicated station called Just Ask Siri for guidance on optimizing Siri interaction with Apple Music.
Hundreds of new playlists have been added by Apple Music’s editorial team that will be available for a variety of activities and modes. The said playlists will also be available to subscribers of other Apple Music plans. The countries of North America and Western Europe, along with some Asian countries such as Japan, India, China and Taiwan, will host the Voice Plan.
