I respect all sports federations, but the volleyball federation is one of the most proud sports federations.
He said: “It is true that the national volleyball team did not meet the expectations, unlike previous years, but we have another match to win the Olympic quota and we should not miss it.” There is little time left until the League of Nations competitions, and I think it is advisable for the Ministry of Sports to keep the referee as the head of the Volleyball Federation. The work of the national volleyball team to get the Olympic quota has become very difficult and it is in the best interest of volleyball to stay as a referee in the federation for the time being. The head coach of the national team must be selected and the referee who is an experienced manager can handle it.
The Iranian volleyball expert emphasized: After all, every arrival has a departure, and it cannot be expected that one person will always take care of things. Anyway, those who were nominated for the federation elections have the right to try their luck in a healthy competition. But considering the current conditions of volleyball and the sensitivity of the national team in the year leading up to the Olympics, it is better to make decisions in line with national interests.
Mir Hosseini said: We should all consider national interests and avoid selfishness. Volleyball needs calm and with good decisions we can create this calm in the year leading up to the Olympics. When the referee was elected as the president of the volleyball federation, he continued the path of the late Yazdani Khorram and volleyball settled with his decisions. In my opinion, any other president who works in the volleyball federation instead of a referee should continue his way. We should not forget the efforts made by the referee for Iranian volleyball. If volleyball is popular among people now, it owes to the right decisions made in this sport.
The volleyball coach emphasized: However, in my opinion, a decision should not be made that volleyball will come out of the hole and fall into the well. Holding the Extraordinary Assembly of the Volleyball Federation is one of the rules of the International Federation, of course, compliance with the internal rules is also of particular importance. I hope that in the end, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the right decisions will be made for Iranian volleyball.
