Warning about selling shares of Iran Khodro and Saipa!

Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Khandozi recently requested the sale of a portion of the shares owned by the Iran Khodro and Saipa governments. Based on this request and in the final approval of the government, four percent of the shares of Iran Khodro and Saipa will be sold separately.

Warning about mere attention to surrender!

Referring to the role of the government in the decisions of car companies, Bayatian said: “Government shares in car companies are not large, but governments have always had a lot of power and a key role in the decisions of car companies.” The automotive industry and its subsidiaries have become the backyard of governments. Government interventions, the absence of experts and the political climate in these companies have caused the automotive industry, unlike some industries such as the defense industry, not to develop as it should.

Consequences of rotating and complex equity in the automotive industry

A former member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly on the motivation of car companies to establish subsidiaries and nested joint stock companies, said: “Car companies have created some of their subsidiaries to remain opaque in the car economy and perhaps even pursue corruption such as money laundering.” In the last year or two, as the fight against corruption in the judiciary has intensified, we have seen that many of those prosecuted in the automotive industry have been deciphered behind the scenes of automotive cases, money laundering issues and legendary fortunes accumulated abroad. .

He continued: “Automotive companies, by establishing subsidiaries, seek to create the conditions of the empire and dominate the automotive industry.” Some of these companies are created so that government managers are always in office. These senior executives advance their political and partisan goals and receive astronomical salaries by appearing on the boards of automakers’ subsidiaries and employing allied forces.

In another part of his remarks, referring to the fact that the accumulated losses of automobile companies are not real, the former member of the Industries Commission added: “I believe that the accumulated losses of automobile companies are more than the announced figures.” Because in the calculation of losses and audits, they act in such a way that the managers of these companies show their positive performance in the reports and defend it.

Bayatian continued: “If the accumulated losses of car companies are less than the announced figures, it can be seen with the view that the accumulated losses are announced too much so that the component companies that want their shares can easily take over these companies.” According to numerous researches, one of the problems of car companies is that these special parts companies have a seat in the car industry.

An important prerequisite is the transfer of the remaining shares of automakers

The representative of the people of Bijar in the ninth parliament, in a recommendation to the Ministry of Silence and the government, said: “The first and crucial step in the privatization process of car companies is to create transparency in the shareholding situation and the public and private identities of its owners.” The status of the movable and immovable assets of these companies must also be clearly defined so that the real and competent private sector knows what situation it is facing.

He noted the need for transparency and oversight of regulatory bodies in the privatization process. Pay the government and close the divested company.

The former member of parliament added: “If the necessary transparency is not used in the process of privatization and transfer of shares of car companies, political and factional goals will play a role and we will surely see a problem like Hafta Tappeh;” With the difference that on a larger scale, it will lead to problems and consequences for the people and the country.
