Based on this, Peyman Haddadi, the special assistant to the head of the Stock Exchange and Securities Organization, stated that out of 49 million equity shareholders, 3.5 million have died in the past 16 years.

He continued: The assignment of the shares of these 3.5 million deceased Adalat shares will be determined by the end of September.
