Washington claimed to have killed one of the leaders of ISIS in Somalia

According to Fars News Agency, a senior American official announced on Thursday evening that the country carried out an operation in northern Somalia during which Bilal al-Sudani, one of the leaders of Daesh, and 10 of his companions were killed.
The American official added that this offensive operation was the result of months of exceptional coordination, and US President Joe Biden ordered the implementation of this operation in Somalia this week on the recommendation of US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
This senior American official added: Bilal al-Sudani was one of the leaders of the ISIS group and was developing the activities of this group in all African countries.
He continued: Biden will continue to take the necessary steps to support the country and its interests in the whole world against terrorist threats.
This official said that it was not possible to arrest Bilal al-Sudani, although this is the American approach. He also said that no damage was done to American soldiers during this operation.
