Washington: Speculation about reaching an agreement in Vienna is very crude

According to Fars News Agency’s International Service, following the US media games with the public regarding the negotiations on lifting the sanctions on Iran in Vienna, the US State Department once again made contradictory statements.

“We are making great progress in the nuclear talks and we are close to a possible agreement with Iran,” State Department spokesman Ned Price told a daily news conference Wednesday evening.

“There are still issues in the negotiations with Iran and there is no agreement before resolving them,” Price told US media.

“If the Iranians are serious in the negotiations, we think we can reach an agreement in a short time,” he said, throwing the ball to Iran.

“The nuclear talks in Vienna are separate from our contacts for the release of the Americans in Iran,” the US diplomat said of some unconfirmed reports on possible provisions of the Vienna agreement.

The remarks came as it was announced on Wednesday evening that Ali Bagheri, Iran’s chief negotiator, would be on a short trip from Vienna to Tehran. وین می‌رود.
