Washington: We have no strategic differences with Israel over Iran

According to Fars News Agency’s International Service, “Ned Price”, the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Joe Biden’s government, during a press conference in this ministry, in response to a question, stated that the US and the Zionist regime do not have a “strategic difference” over the Vienna-Iran talks.
At a news conference this morning, Tehran time, a State Department spokesman outlined Washington’s position on various foreign policy issues, and in part, asked about a recent US media report on the Secretary of State’s recent visit to occupied Palestine and his request. Faced from Tel Aviv to offer an alternative to Burjam.
“Axius reports that Secretary Blinken has asked Israeli Prime Minister Bennett for a nuclear deal and how to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapons capability,” a reporter asked. “Can you talk about this report and also give us an update on the situation (Vienna talks) given that we are trying to get this issue to the finish line?”
In response to this question, the US State Department spokesman stressed that despite the tactical differences between Washington and Tel Aviv over the Vienna and Burjam talks, they have no strategic differences.
“There are a few things,” Ned Price explained. Of course, it is no secret that we have tactical differences with our Israeli partners. “Families, even the closest family members, sometimes have disagreements and arguments.”
“What we (Washington and Tel Aviv) do not have is a strategic difference,” the senior US official continued. At the strategic level, we are committed, we and our Israeli partners are committed, we are determined to be careful that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon, and so Secretary Blinken when we were in Israel earlier this week … We had the opportunity to meet with Prime Minister Bennett, Talk to Secretary of Defense Lapid’s Secretary of Defense, Benny Gantz, President Herzog, and others about where we stand in the Vienna talks. But in general, trying to see if we can achieve a reciprocal return to adherence to the BRICS. “This is part of our regular efforts to keep our allies and partners aware around the world, as well as in Congress.”
He then referred to the former US administration during Donald Trump’s presidency to withdraw from the BRICS nuclear deal, and reiterated the Biden administration’s opposition to the move.
According to State Department spokesman Ned Price, with the withdrawal of the Trump administration from the Borjam nuclear deal, the restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program were lifted and the promises of a “better deal” were not fulfilled.
The US State Department spokesman also told the news conference that attacks on US forces had quadrupled since the country withdrew from Burjam, declared a Revolutionary Guards terrorist and assassinated General Qassem Soleimani.
“Attempts to suppress Iranian-backed forces based on the strategy we have inherited have not worked,” he added. We want to see the strategy work and be effective. “We still believe that returning to Barjam is the right solution.”
