Washington’s new sanctions against Iran – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera TV channel, the US Department of Treasury issued a statement announcing the imposition of sanctions against 6 companies and a ship under the pretext of connection with Iran.
In a statement issued by the US Treasury Department, it has been announced that the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has placed “institutions that support Iran’s petrochemical satellite companies” in the list of sanctions.
The companies that were added to the US sanctions list today are:
– Blue Cactus company, active in the field of heavy equipment and spare parts trade, based in the UAE, under the pretext of connection with the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company;
– “Farwell Canyon” company based in China, under the pretext of connection with the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company;
– “Golden Warrior” shipping company based in China;
– “Pioneer” shipping management company based in Singapore;
– “Zenfar” Trading Company (PZNFR), based in Malaysia, under the pretext of connection with the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company;
SHEKUFEI International Trade Company based in China, under the pretext of connection with the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company
The statement issued by the US Treasury Department in this regard adds that the “GLORY HARVEST” oil tanker under the flag of Panama has been included in Washington’s sanctions list under the pretext of being associated with the “Golden Warrior” company.
The US Treasury Department claimed that today’s sanctions targeted companies that the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company used to facilitate the sale of tens of millions of dollars of oil and petrochemical products to East Asia!
Today’s sanctions against Iran are being imposed after the United States several times in the past months has made ridiculous claims that it wants to return to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, which Trump withdrew from in 2018.
