According to Mehr News Agency, citing the public relations of Documentary Network, the documentary film “The Lost Truth” produced by Seyed Mohammad Mahdi Tabatabainejad and directed by Mohammad Ali Farsi, the story of the mysterious story of Talakoob Khayyam’s book on the Titanic, will be broadcast on Thursday, May 28 at 20:00 on Documentary Network.
On the occasion of Hakim Omar Khayyam’s commemoration day, this documentary is included in the schedule of the documentary network and deals with the lost translation of Khayyam’s book of poetry by Edward FitzGerald.
In 1912, the Titanic ship sank while traveling from the port of Southampton, England, to New York, USA due to collision with an iceberg, and 1,514 passengers and crew lost their lives. Interestingly, among the objects that went to the depths of the water in the ship, there was a golden book containing the poems of Khayyam Nishaburi.
