“Water, Wind, Soil, Bread” won 2 awards/Simplicity of life in a remote village

The documentary “Water, Wind, Soil, Bread” directed by Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasri won 2 awards from foreign festivals.
Charso Press: The documentary “Water, Wind, Soil, Bread” directed by Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasri and produced by Samia Zaretkar and Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasri won the creativity award at the 10th Children’s Film Festival in Seoul, South Korea and was also successful at the 18th Documentary Film Festival “Doc Edge” in New Zealand. The film was shortened to receive special appreciation from the jury.
The jury of the Seoul Children’s Festival said in a statement: “This award is given to films that are created with creativity and a spirit of challenge and break the existing mold of children’s films.”
In the statement of the jury of New Zealand’s “Duck Edge” festival, which is one of the film events approved by the Oscar Academy, it is stated: “The simplicity of life in a remote village in Iran has been discovered. We watch the togetherness, care and relationship of ordinary people despite the hardships. The jury would like to appreciate the gentle and efficient storytelling that the filmmaker exhibits in this film.”
The 25-minute documentary “Water, Wind, Soil, Bread”, which took more than a year to produce, is a juicy, colorful and tender story about the life of Abolfazl and the praise of 2 Fahrji children who experience different lives in the twist of fate.
The international distribution of the film is the responsibility of the Seventh Art Institute under the management of Alireza Shahrokhi.
