We are looking for more sanctions against Iran – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

German Chancellor Olaf Schultz said on Monday that the European Union is considering further sanctions against Iran.
The German chancellor claimed more sanctions against Iran under the pretext of Iran’s internal developments and wrote in a tweet: “I am shocked to see people demonstrating peacefully in Iran.”
The German chancellor continued with an interventionist statement and raised the claim of excessive violence by the security forces and claimed: “We are with the people of Iran.” EU sanctions are important. “We are considering the next steps.”
Previously, in response to Iran’s internal developments, the European Union imposed sanctions against Iran on October 17. Also last week, Berlin condemned Tehran for imposing sanctions on European media in a retaliatory move and pledged to tighten its own rules for entry into Iran beyond EU sanctions.
On the other hand, Analena Baerbock, the German Foreign Minister, had previously announced that Berlin would tighten the restrictions on Iranians entering Germany beyond the EU sanctions package.
The German Foreign Minister also made baseless anti-Iranian claims, while continuing to support Western authorities for the recent disturbances in Iran, and claimed that relations with Iran cannot continue as usual!
Also, last week, the spokesman of the German Foreign Ministry announced that the Iranian ambassador in Berlin has been summoned to the German Foreign Ministry in continuation of the Western interventions in Iran’s internal affairs.
Andrea Sasse, the spokesperson of the German Foreign Ministry, said: I can confirm that both our ambassador in Tehran and the Iranian ambassador in Berlin have been called to give explanations to the respective foreign ministries of the two countries. We have made it clear.
This is the third time that Iran’s ambassador to Germany has been summoned since the beginning of the unrest in Iran, which occurred on the pretext of the death of “Mehsa Amini” on September 16 (25th of Shahrivar).
After German Foreign Minister Analena Berbuk announced that the German government will take a tougher stance against Tehran, the diplomatic relations between the two countries have deteriorated.
