Approval of a loan of 400 million Tomans for housing
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development explained about the methods of financing the construction of housing as follows: مالی Financial resources for housing construction have been predicted and according to the law, up to 360 thousand billion Tomans will be allocated to this project and so that we can provide appropriate facilities. In this regard, we have determined and paid proposals to the Monetary and Credit Council, which will be approved next Saturday.
Ghasemi added: “According to the proposals submitted to the Monetary and Credit Council, the ceiling of the facilities intended for provincial centers is 400 million Tomans and for villages is 250 million Tomans.” Applicants can register in the system after these steps and enter the scheme according to Form “C”, which will be amended soon.
According to him, the construction of housing is not only on the agenda by calling on mass builders and various cooperatives, but we are also providing facilities to people who own land. On the other hand, according to its latest commitment, the Housing Foundation will build 400,000 housing units in this project. We also have 200,000 rural and urban housing units on the agenda, and the Relief Committee, Welfare and Foundation for the Underprivileged have pledged to build 520,000 housing units, although these projects have begun.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development, stating that the Cooperative Fund of the Ministry of Labor is also planning to build housing for workers in the framework of this plan, said: Of course, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development or government departments are not going to build houses, .
Negotiation with foreign countries for construction in Iran
Ghasemi announced: “We are negotiating with some foreign countries to bring technical knowledge, industrialization into the country and start building housing using Iranian workers and materials in the country.” We can also use various financing methods such as financing, oil refining and… to build housing.
“We are looking to implement a professional rental plan like in developed countries,” he said. Also, about 300,000 housing units are being built annually, and we intend to fulfill our promise of building four million housing units by the end of the 13th government by increasing its speed and number.
Negotiations with Iraq to launch the Shalamcheh-Basra railway
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development also said about the latest situation of the Shalamcheh-Basra railway line: “We held talks with the Iraqi side during Al-Kazemi’s recent visit to Iran.” We intend to build the 32-kilometer Shalamcheh-Basra railway quickly, because despite the technical problems of the Iraqi railway, this short route can connect us to this neighboring country and finally to the Mediterranean Sea.
I am not under pressure to choose managers
