Fortunately, all the veteran artists were satisfied with the way the vaccination was done, but there were also expectations from the art community that it is our job to follow. In the new era, the government’s goal is to be able to reduce most of the problems with its maximum power. The problems are not very big and with the efforts of all our colleagues and me in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the will of the government, we will solve most of the problems of the artistic community.

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance also mentioned about the vaccination of Ahl-e Qalam: according to the agreement reached with the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, the vaccination of all those who have an art card will be done, even the sections that had expectations from the classes will be examined. The relevant departments in the ministry will follow up and try to resolve the vaccination community as soon as possible.

Ismaili said: “With the general conditions that exist in the country and the programs that the government and the Corona headquarters have, some educational activities will move towards normalization with a scheduled program and the observance of protocols.” We are also trying to move in this direction with a schedule and maintaining the health of the artists, so that a part of our art-oriented and completely troubled artistic activities, with the cooperation of the Corona headquarters, will move towards a gradual solution.

Regarding the appointment of the directors of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, he clarified: “Last Thursday was my first working day, and after talking to Mr. Salehi (former Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance), we held a meeting of the Council of Deputies the next day.” Our goal is to move the work forward by observing the customs appropriate to the field of culture and art, and to make the most of the experiences of the current managers. It is natural that change is possible, but we are not in a hurry to do so.

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance stated: “Our plan in selecting new managers is such that we try to move the work forward with a clear logic. The work in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance is currently being carried out without interruption and with strength and power.” I would like to thank all those who have worked with us since the previous government. Whenever necessary, changes will be made in accordance with the principles of culture and art.

Asked what the new government’s plan would be for the new government to hold a virtual book fair and use that capacity, Ismaili said: “Apart from all the threats, Corona has created opportunities. Many of our plans in The past was time consuming and at the same time costly, and the arrangements for holding a regular event were difficult, with the corona and the activation of cyberspace helping to solve many of these problems.

He added: “Certainly in the transformation period of the new government, we intend to make the most of the services of new technologies to improve the quantity and quality of activities, the space is prepared for this work and this can be used as an opportunity.” We hope that with the experiences we have gained since the Corona, we will be able to strengthen the field of cultural economics with this view.
