According to Mehr news agency, Iran’s ambassador in Baghdad said that the Iranian side has asked Iraq that the central government take over the control of the borders of the two countries, because currently the Iraqi side does not have control over the borders.
According to this report, “Mohammed Kazem Al-Sadegh” in a conversation with the network covenant Iraq mentioned the disarmament of terrorists and separatists and returning them to camps as refugees as other conditions of Iran.

Al-Sadegh also clarified: The Iraqi government agreed to our two requests and asked for a deadline regarding disarmament.

The foreign ministers of the two countries reviewed the process and results of the talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia and emphasized multilateral regional cooperation.

In this conversation, the foreign minister of our country considered security as a key element in the region and in bilateral relations and said: Despite the privileged relations between the two countries, the Islamic Republic of Iran does not expect to be threatened by the Kurdistan Region, and the central government is responsible for these actions.
