According to the reporter of Mehr, the series “Soran” has started its broadcast on TV since last week, and so far 2 episodes of this series have been broadcasted on Ik Sima channel.
Tonight, the third part of this series, directed by Soroush Mohammadzadeh, will be aired on Ik Sima channel.
Yesterday, Mojtabi Farawardeh, the producer of the series, talked about this series with Mustafa Emami, the host of Radio Hasht Studio, and explained about this series.
In his explanation about the process of writing and producing the series, Farawardeh mentioned: We started writing the script at the end of 1400, in Khordad and July 1401, the script was finished in July, and the filming of the series started from 20 September.
He added: Filming was done in different areas, including Yasouj, Tehran and Qazvin, and it ended on March 20. Since we were doing the montage and part of the visual effects of the series at the same time, until now, a major part has been finished. However, due to the heavy visual effects, friends are still working. Our effort is to deliver every part on time.
In response to the weekly airing of series on TV, Farawarde explained: “Soran” airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays and is rebroadcast on Fridays. With the changes that have occurred in the show space, the broadcasting methods have also changed. To broadcast one episode of the series every week was done in the distant past. Each work should be evaluated in its own proportion, some works are good to be broadcasted weekly and for some it is suitable to be broadcasted every night.
He added: This event that Sedavsima has arranged for a series to be broadcast twice a week, time must pass and then you can evaluate and see how beneficial this method of broadcasting is to the series. Of course, even then, when it was broadcast weekly, everyone knew that, for example, they could expect a serial on a certain day. Even now, if the audience gets used to it, it might be a good method, but we have to give it a chance and see what the feedback we get from the audience is like.
Farawarde further stated about the risk of choosing new and less seen faces in this series: In some works, you should definitely go for a new face and not a face that the audience knows or has background on. Look at the cinema and serialization of the world, this happens a lot. Here, because face and actor are valued excessively, this category of discovering an actor and working with a new actor is unfortunately condemned to some extent. If you look at the “Game of Thrones” series, you will see that you don’t know any of them. Many series whose artists you don’t know (in the world) and famous artists are not in them.
In response to the fact that in the past year, despite the presence of new faces in the series, except for Gildekht, there have been few high-profile series on TV. And if the performance is not right, the audience will definitely reject it. One of the duties and missions of television is to discover actors and introduce them to the screen.
In the end, the producer of “Soran” stated: For many years, this task of television has been denied and is not implemented, and they usually go to well-known actors who have some kind of previous guarantee, but if television returns to its natural path, it will produce its films and series with new faces. Slow production is good for serials and it will increase the number of our acting community and it is good for cinema and television.
