That’s why it took a long time for the movie “The Stranger” before we could have a TV teaser for it. When the teasers of the movie were confirmed, nearly 10 days had passed since the release!

He continued: The correct logic for promoting a cultural product is to inform about it before its release. The municipal beautification organization has not yet come to inform about the screening of “Gharib”. For films of this kind, if cultural organizations and institutions do not cooperate, our work will naturally become more difficult. For a social film or a comedy film, we can advertise in other ways, but in cases like “The Stranger” the municipality and television really have to come to work.

This broadcaster said: Our cultural managers must have the understanding that a cultural product has a short time to release, and if that time passes, putting up a thousand billboards will no longer work, and the cure is after Sohrab’s death.

This broadcaster also said about the timing of the release of “Gharib”: I believe that the Nowruz release of “Gharib” was the right decision. Finally, the film was noticed in the Fajr festival. On the other hand, in the composition of Nowruz films, a holy defense film should have been released. The number of films this year was not too many, and for these reasons, I still consider the Nowruz release of this film to be the right decision. I feel that considering that the audience of this film was more involved in the rituals of this month during Ramadan, the film will be better received after Eid-ul-Fitr.

We thought that with the support of TV, we no longer need satellites!

This cinema producer and broadcaster also said about the use of satellite advertising capacity of some films being screened and its effect on the cinema box office: My personal opinion was that the movie “Alien” is supported by television and does not need satellite advertising anymore! I thought that the radio and the municipality would come to work and inform about the start of the movie screening in an explosion! But this process took a long time, one did not work at all and the other one joined.

He added: “If we are not just looking for laughter and entertainment to watch a movie in the cinema hall, then “Gharib” is a movie that can be watched regardless of political views. Especially if the audience is looking for a movie that is worth seeing on the screen, this movie is definitely the right choice.

The broadcaster of “Gharib” also said about the negotiation for the transfer of the right to broadcast this film to the television: the decision about this transfer is the responsibility of the producer of the film, but according to the agreement we have made together, this will definitely not happen for the next 6 months.

Khani also explained about the movie “Sekam Habs” directed by Saman Salwar, which he is also in charge of broadcasting: “Sekam Habs” will be released on the screen from next Wednesday. This movie is one of those movies that coincide with the crisis coronavirus It was behind the screening line. We were planning to release it last year too, but we felt that the conditions were not right. In general, considering that most of the movies on the screen are comedies at this point, we felt it was the right time to release this movie so that it remains diverse in the big picture of the cinemas. If we keep releasing comedies, we will naturally lose a part of our audience.

“Aamepasand” and “Qif” may be released in June

This broadcaster also said about the other films ready for release in its distribution office: Currently, we have the films “Amepasand”, “Qif”, “Abar Baranesh Geghed” and several other films, which are mostly films that have been left over from previous years and are ready to be broadcast. They have a commitment. We are negotiating and planning and maybe we can release these movies around June.

Khani also said about his analysis of Nowruz screening, which despite the fact that it coincided with the month of Ramadan, we saw an increase in audience in cinemas compared to last Nowruz: A major part of this reception is due to the release of a good comedy like “Fasil”. Even in the most critical situations, the content itself can draw people to the cinemas. Perhaps it was predicted that the coincidence with the holy month of Ramadan would cause the stagnation of cinemas, but a good comedy was able to draw people to the cinema. Films such as “Private Meeting” and “Bucharest” were also able to appear on the screen with the same freshness. Today’s audience is an intelligent audience and if a good movie suitable for the screen is released, they are ready to pay for it and watch it with pleasure. If the same audience does not recognize a movie as suitable for the screen, they wait for the movie to be released online and watch it on TV.
