According to the Mehr news agency, “Mikhail Ulyanov”, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations, in a Twitter message on Friday opposed the fabricated deadlines in the Vienna talks aimed at lifting anti-Iranian sanctions.

Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna wrote in this regard: The members of Borjam met with the United States (without the presence of Iran) to assess the current situation in the Vienna talks.

He added: “Western partners, as they do so openly, have emphasized the need to finalize negotiations as soon as possible. Russia also feels urgent; But it is against fictitious deadlines.

It is worth mentioning that the eighth round of talks on lifting the sanctions started on January 27 with the holding of a meeting of the Joint Commission chaired by Ali Bagheri, Senior Negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Enrique Moo, EU Deputy Foreign Minister, and is still ongoing. Westerners are creating psychological tensions by resorting to time-consuming tactics and setting fake deadlines for ending negotiations.
