According to Fars, quoting the information base of the Radio and Television of Iran, Mohsen Barmahani, the deputy director of the Radio and Television of Iran, attended a gathering of professors and students of the Radio and Television University today, 3 June, and responded to the students’ concerns.

At the beginning of the meeting, he mentioned his studies at the University of Radio and Television and said: “I entered the University of Radio and Television in 1979 and in 1981 I went to Al-Alam channels and then to Press TV and my field of activity has been international media affairs.”

Regarding the support of student productions, the deputy director of Sima said: “Creating a brand for student productions is one of our must.” It is necessary to provide the necessary space for the broadcasting of such productions on Sima, that is, to make student productions for a special network and time, not to produce a program and then look for the place of its broadcasting.

He continued: “In agreement with the university of the organization, we can provide students with the opportunity to use the capacities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, such as the cinema and television town of Iran (Zande Yad Ali Hatami) and television studios.”

In response to the students’ concerns about the use of student capacities in the fields of research and content, the deputy director of IRIB said: “Earlier, when I was the director general of international supply and media, I wrote a letter to Mr. Esfandiari, president of the university, and stated the same points.”

He continued: In the content monitoring and management complex, some undergraduate and higher university students were present and active. These people have even provided analysis on various issues to the head of the organization.

Burmahani announced the strengthening of the interaction between the Vice Chancellor of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the University of the Organization and announced his readiness for the students of the Radio and Television University to spend their internships professionally in the Center of Planning and Program of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At the beginning of the meeting, students from different fields and sections of the Radio and Television University shared their concerns with the Vice Chancellor of the Radio and Television.
