According to Mehr news agency, the head of the Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen, in a conversation with China Central Television, expressed hope that the Beijing authorities will play an effective role in solving the Palestinian issue.
Referring to China’s efforts to resume diplomatic relations between Tehran and Riyadh, he added: “The issue between Iran and Saudi Arabia has a long history and no country has ever successfully resolved the problems between these two countries.” But because “China” has good intentions and does not seek profit from these two countries, it was able to achieve this miraculous action.
He added: I think that reconciliation between Iran and Saudi Arabia is a miracle and all Arab countries welcome it. In fact, the entire Arab world and all the people of Arab countries are happy with China’s mediation efforts. I believe that, except for China, no country was able to reconcile between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Abu Mazen further described China as a justice-seeking country and said: I hope China will also play an effective role in solving the Palestinian issue. In addition, we sincerely hope that China will work hard to realize this issue. We also hope that the Zionist regime will accept China’s mediation. Because China will not use this issue to realize its interests, China only wants to see peace in the Middle East and the world. But many other countries in the world do not have such an approach.
Abu Mazen said that solving the current deadlock between Palestine and the Zionist regime requires convincing Tel Aviv to accept the right of the Palestinian people and at the same time convincing America in this regard.
The head of the self-governing organization emphasized: The point I want to emphasize is that the United States has never wanted a solution for the Palestinian people and has never pressured or mediated on Israel to accept the “two-state solution”. Until the United States recognizes the two-state solution and the right of the Palestinian people to the land, we will continue to fight in our land, as has happened in the history of South Africa.
The head of the Palestinian Authority noted that the United States has taken an unfair approach towards the Palestinian people. America promotes democracy and justice in other places, but never mentions democracy and justice when facing the Palestinian people. The United States verbally supports the “two-state solution” but does not implement it. If America makes changes, the issue of Palestine and Israel will be resolved as soon as possible.
