According to the reporter of Mehr, the TV program “Chavush” started its work on Channel Four on the first of Muharram this year, and the 105th episode, which was the last episode, was broadcast on Yalda night. This program was broadcast five nights a week on Chahar-Sima channel from 22:30 to 30:00 in the morning and it was rebroadcast at 13:30 the next day. The composition of the program was such that every night a presenter specialized in cultural and artistic fields would chat with the guests related to that field. The presenters of these evenings are Mohammad Javad Sharaft, the secretary of the poetry department, Javad Ostadi, the secretary of the philosophy of art and cultural policies department, Ayoub Agakhani, the secretary of the theater department, Mohsen Safai Fard, the secretary of the music department, and Mehdi Salehi, the secretary of the Persian language department. On the two occasions of Nowruz and Yalda, “Chavush” had a detailed program, especially the Yalda night program was broadcast live with the performance of Fouad Safarianpour, and due to the audience’s reception, a selection of this program was broadcast on Sunday and Monday nights, the 3rd and 4th of January. Ali Zarean, the producer of “Chavush” program, told Mehr reporter about this special program: “Chavush” program had 105 episodes, and during the time that this program was aired, a good opportunity was provided for us to have conversations with the personalities of our country’s culture, art and literature. to be long and detailed, and since then we had planned to invite a selection of these people who were prominent in their field for the special Yalda night program.
He added: Another point is that the mission of Channel Four is a cultural and influential one, and the program makers of Channel Four are looking for a deep and lasting audience even with a small audience. With this strategy, we went to the topics of culture, art and thought and found selected people in these areas, and the important point was that the distribution of special guests of the “Chavush” program was national, which means that our guests were not only from Tehran, but from The cities of Sistan, Bushehr, Azarbaijan, North Khorasan, South Khorasan, Gorgan, Isfahan and other cities of our country came and an attempt was made to include a national average in the program. The title of our program shows well the dispersion of guests who came from all over the country.
Zarean continued: This year, we had the opportunity to travel to other countries that celebrate Nowruz, which includes 18 countries. We traveled to seven of its countries and during these trips, we were able to find prominent cultural-artistic people and communicate with them, and during this communication, a number of them were present in person or online in our special Yalda night program. became
The producer of the “Chavush” program said: Attracting the audience is possible and possible through the most superficial mode possible on all televisions in the world, and almost all countries do this. Of course, I mean the word “superficial” here without value, and mostly I mean the basic needs of the audience because entertainment is attractive to all spectrums; In addition to the fact that it is not necessary for the audience to carefully follow the program, but if we want to invite the audience to sit for a speech lesson, many capacities must be activated to make the content presentation in the media attractive.
He added: We were able to do this at this year’s Yalda under the word “Common Yalda” and talked about Yalda in India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Iraq with guests who were experts in this field. Of course, we also did this for the cities of Iran and invited different ethnicities of our country in this program to tell about their rituals on Yalda night.
Zarean said about the importance of providing content for television programs: providing attractive content is a difficult and effective task, however, Chahar Sima, especially “Chavosh” program, is not looking for a mass audience, but an interested and deep audience.
He also explained about the number of viewers of the “Chavush” program on Yalda night: There are no statistics from the Broadcasting Organization’s survey and research center yet, but the general opinion we had from people of culture, academic elites and intellectuals shows that we have reached the target. We believe that we have achieved a deep and careful audience attraction, even if it is a little. Regarding the comparison of the number of viewers of our program with the audience of other networks, I must say that I avoid any comparison between Channel Four and other networks, because I think the number of viewers is different for the networks.
